If you're coming from a 3D world, you've probably already noticed how popular is Icelandic landscape in CGI. A unique combination of a black lava stone and vivid green that you won't see anywhere else. We've tried to transfer part of this landscape into the images of a Kindergarten in Garðabær, Iceland. Design by Nikolova Aarsø architects is focused on local materials and traditional Icelandic architecture. In collaboration with the local team, they've come up with a circular shape reacting to the topology of the plot. Full of smart solutions and small hideouts makes you want to go a few years back a play in this amazing space. Congratulations to 2nd place!
